This vision started in the early 2000’s, I would be hanging out with friends and when I arrived a the house I would see mathematical equations on her desktop, she was researching something. I wasn’t really sure what she was up to so a few months later I decided to ask, and she said she was doing research on how to make her own natural products, she asked did I want to learn as well, and I responded not at this moment. Even though I had other agendas on my mind, I was intrigued. I was young and on the move, but I knew whatever she was doing would be magical. Years passed, I moved away from home went to college, and resided in the Washington, Dc area. During that time I started exploring and doing things I loved. I started working at eleven so I was able to provide for myself as a teenager. I discovered the world of fashion at a very young age my favorite things to purchase were CD’s sneakers and hostess honey buns from the corner store. I’ve always had a sweet tooth. Fashion found me at a very young age. Looking good and smelling good brought me enjoyment. Growing up I always enjoyed being fresh! My father had plenty of fragrance options on the dresser, sometimes he would leave a few out that weren’t in heavy rotation, and I would smell them test them and try them on fresh out the shower! As a teenager my mother would always ask my opinion on different scents. She actually bought my first fragrance! My mother was very cultured, and she educated me, along with other men in my family on, what was hip in many aspects of life. When I was a young man being exposed to things I might not appreciate until I was older and wiser was the normal. Many years later I started a career in retail. I worked for several great companies, but most of my time was spent at Neiman Marcus in Tysons Corner, Mclean VA. I worked there for nine years. Fortunately I became very knowledgeable in all departments of the store!  Every morning and afternoon you could find me sampling and smelling what was new in the cosmetics department. Testing cosmetic products for my clients, and for myself was a natural behavior. The cosmetics department was like my second home, some of today’s leading mens lines were just starting off during my tenure, so I was able to introduce some exceptional people to some amazing product lines as I walked, and worked around the store. (smell me) The beautiful ladies in the cosmetics department were always very nice, they educated me about the products we carried, which was always a pleasurable experience! I’ve had the pleasure of helping some incredible people over the years, celebrities, doctors, artist, housewives, you name it. My clients always said I had extremely good taste, so I was able to build relationships with some great individuals who trusted my opinion when shopping for things they wanted or needed. Providing and introducing a variety of luxury products people might be interested in was always exciting! A lot of people want to know whats new in the world of retail so at Anuvv.com we always have a variety products to select from. If you are single be careful (warning) if you are married be very careful when wearing our products around single women, they tend to entice the senses. I suggest wearing our products after showering or with clean hands. Spread small amounts on you're body or someone else’s to moisturize and hydrate the skin. On another note, while I was focused on becoming more knowledgable about different scents I always kept my mother in mind, she had already developed her own line that was natural and it was a amazing product. Over the years her and I shared opinions and ideas that might reach a wider audience, always looking to produce a better product for customers, family and friends! Sometimes I called her and talked about products I had a chance to test, we always discussed different ideas for a mens line. One day I was visiting her in my hometown of Detroit, and she said would you be interested in learning how to create you’re own products. Mens products would be my main focus! This time around I thought about it more in debt, after a few weeks of contemplating I said to myself (MHM) this is something I enjoyed doing naturally. Hey I’ve always enjoyed smelling scents, and mixing fragrances so why not make my own product line. So I began my research requested a few essential oils and fragrances, and shorty after I found out I was a natural at formulating great scents, a few friends of the family approve this message! On a weekday afternoon we mixed my first combination of scents and she named it Hint, that was the name of our first mens creation, and that was the first product we formulated. We made several bottles, but didn’t sale the product to anyone, we gifted them. The reactions of the scents were positive, and the feedback we received about our first collaboration was extremely positive.
